Consultation & Homecare
Due to our ‘specialist’ holistic nature we stress the importance of finding out as much about you as a whole person in order to tailor your treatment. At the Chalet, we believe treatment is one third consultation, one third treatment and one third homecare advice, to help you support the work we do between treatments. We prefer to look at the long-term picture of your health and to do this we undertake a detailed 15 minute consultation, covering medical history and lifestyle, during your initial visit to ensure your treatment plan is safe, ethical and tailored to you, and that you get the most from your treatment. It helps us build a picture of you – as holistic therapy focuses on treating the ‘whole’.

Complementary Therapy is used alongside conventional medical care. Always consult your GP or a health professional for urgent medical attention and advice.
Mix & Match
You can choose to mix and match some treatments, subject to individual suitability. For example, you could choose to have an hour treatment comprised of 45 minutes of one treatment and 15 minutes of another – e.g. Indian Champissage mixed with Reiki. We can advise further on the suitability of this – please ask Nicole if this is something you are interested in.
There is plenty of free parking available at the Chalet in Henley Water Gardens’ centre. Please note that there are limited seated facilities for waiting at the Chalet. If it is nice weather, you may wish to arrive early and take a look around the Water Garden centre – if it is raining you can shelter inside the main building.
There are ‘staff-only’ toilet facilities which will be made available to you, although it may be advisable to use these before or after treatment as they are the other side of the centre.
We have flexible payment options. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit or debit card – or even in advance by Standing Order! Unavoidably, payment by card will incur an 2.8% charge due to the charges we receive when putting through such payments.

Here at the Chalet, we run a schedule of appointments that follow on from one another so, out of consideration for other clients, please do arrive on time for your appointment as this will maximise your treatment time with us.
If you cannot make your booked timeslot, please call Nicole on 07792324085 as soon as possible. We do not accept cancellations via text message or email. We are happy to rearrange appointments to another time within 1 week if given a full 48 hours’ advance notice between hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Missed appointments, cancellations or rearranged appointments with less than 48 hours’ advance notice will incur a 100% charge due to having allocated that time to you. Any cancellations which are not rebooked are charged a 100% cancellation fee. We reserve the right to request up-front advanced payment for any future re-scheduled appointments.
